How about mixing up your Halloween festivities this year! There is always time for the traditional night full of trick-or-treating. However, if you had the time you should consider attending a few of these awesome Halloween-themed events!
- On Monday, October 3rd make your way out to the Straw Maze for its season opening! Have a blast as you try to make it through the maze while being spooked by monsters, and other scary creatures! The maze will be open regardless of weather! It will be open from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 5 and 10 PM, Friday between 5 PM and 12 AM, and Saturday from 3 PM to 12 AM! Prices are $6 each for individuals above the age of 12, and $4 for children between the ages of 5 and 11! Children younger than 4 are free! Do not miss this spectacular opportunity! The maze is located at 7600 South 2000 West in Rexburg.
- If the Straw Maze is not your style, consider the Haunted Forest instead! It will open on October 3rd, and feature spooky figures surrounded by creepy trees waiting patiently to scare you! Prices are $3 more than admission for the Straw Maze.
- Head over to Swore Farms located at Rrt 2 Box 175 Ballard Road in Pocatello! The patch will be open for pumpkin picking in addition to a corn maze! Your children will have a blast getting their face painted, and playing with the farm animals! All of the pumpkins grown at Swore Farms are pesticide-free, so they will be excellent for your pies, and Jack-O-Lanterns!
